F. Chopin - Waltz op. 64 no. 3 in A flat major (Piotr Lewandowski)
Truly the most underrated waltz by Chopin! Exceptional middle part with melody in left hand (sounds like a viola part) and clever modulations in third part. This is my favourite waltz by Chopin. It contains a lot of inspiration in modulating tonations and themes (I especially like modulations of first theme in third part when it travels around E major and F major).
The main execise while learning this waltz was to balance the volume between left and right hand (in first and third part left hand is quiter, in the second part - the opposite)

F. Chopin - Nocturne op. 9 no. 1 in B flat minor (Piotr Lewandowski)
Просмотров 1142 месяца назад
My favourite nocturne by Fryderyk Chopin. This piece is really "music of the night" and metaphor of sleeping and dreaming of the past... Really emotional piece (contains a lot of room for pianist's interpretation). Every interpretation of this nocturne is different - here's my own. Learned to train left hand. Not perfect but I enjoy this composition a lot! When I was 11 years old and starting learning how to play the piano, it was my dream etude to play . Recorded on Yamaha CLP-645 Pianist: Piotr Lewandowski

Johan amaising composer, good work
You deserve a cape.
Gracias, acabo de recordar el gélido abrazo de la noche en días solitarios
Awesome! Congratulations!
Really amazing, congratulations!
BRAVO
Death on a piano sounds soooooo evil!!! This is more death metal than death metal
Really good :D
Be still my heart! This is brilliant! And BG already made this song brilliant, so this is brilliant x brilliant I couldn't help myself, I had to sing along( as much as that was singing, so far my experience as a vocalist is limited to the pub and the shower LOL)
awsome😊 Please tell me what is this song title.
This is awesome wtf
Превосходно
Dimmu Borgir is the great band this reason in your melody.
nailed it!
Wow! Just wonderful.
Omg ❤
That's great, but the interesting thing to me is that even though it is very good I could not mistake it for Rick's playing. Rick's got something special about the way he plays the keys that seems to set him apart from other keyboard players.
Bravo 👏👏👏
Wow! Incredibly well done! Bravo! 👏😊
Dude you as inhuman as Rick him self! Holy crap NICE JOB!
WOW
First of all, great challenge and you pulled it off very nicely. Rick's solos always blend a bit of baroque seriousness and tongue in cheek lightheartedness. He's also very fast, and tasteful with the range of sounds. Actually, it was that keen interest in incorporating an array of keyboards that kind of made him a bit of a one man orchestra. In terms of difficulty, how would this solo compare with one of, say, Bach's fugues? It would seem to me that those old multi-layered classics would present a very considerable challenge, even to rival a showpiece like this, but I'm not much of a keyboard player, so I wouldn't know. One last thing about Rick's playing: his timing always seemed to be clockwork-impeccable to me. A lot of other players come across as a bit looser, but maybe that's just my perception. Anyway, good job, and thanks for sharing.
Nice job! Just imagine not only playing it but composing this wonderful music. Hats off to Rick.
waos, 10/10
amazing work, thanks a lot for this tutorial im very begginer but I will practice with this it gives me inspiration to learn :)
Very beautiful piece. Thanks and greetings from Slovenia
Bravo 👏🏻
You asked for comments and rating, so don't beat me up for me doing so. I am have played keys for about 50 years and like you, wish I had half of Wakeman's talent. I would never post a video of me attempting a Wakeman solo unless I had it down complete. There are truly some things that need to be left alone, and one of them are his solos, especially this one on "An Evening of Yes" album. I have listened to this particular solo more times than I would like to admit and like you, practice his techniques over and over, then dream. I am not mocking your talent, you play well, but you did not do this solo much justice but it seemed to entertain some folks from the comments. Substituting Maple Leaf Rag for Merlin the Magician should have been left out if you are unable to play it. I did get a kick out of you shaking your hand out before your attempt at Catherine Parr!
Please! Find 4 other guys who play at your level and form a band. Seriously!
Браво маэстро,отлично!
Awesome!! ❤
Thanks a lot! ❤
❤
Good time of day. Very cool!!! Could you share the notes for this composition?
👏👏👏💜
Astonishing!!! Exceptional transformation from song to piano!
Sem comentários! Muito bom mesmo! Parabéns!
Nice job What Is keyboard?
Tendinitis?
Wow!! This veteran salutes you.
I think Every metal band should have a keyboard incorporated somewhere absolutely beautiful
Tutorial?
It's so damn awesome, emotional, beatiful and dark at the same time. You get as much out of the piano as it is possible. I wonder what na entire orchestra would do with that piece.
Amazing solo!!! Mr. Wakeman would be proud!
Talent, hard work and impeccable taste.
If you live in Norway we should make this music ourself.
Hermoso como suena
